MONTHS 7–9
Finding what helps
Reflection prompt: What small change has made a day feel a little easier?
MONTHS 10–12
Looking back, looking ahead
Reflection prompt: What would you like to say to yourself from twelve months ago?
A PERSONAL REFLECTION
Finding My Way Through the First Year
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2025, at the age of 35.
One of the most important things I am learning is that the first year after diagnosis does not follow a fixed timeline. There is no right pace and no set order for working things out. If you are somewhere in your own first year, please be gentle with yourself – wherever you are is a valid place to be.
